Dr. Michelle Kelley

Dr. Michelle Kelley is a Professor of Psychology at and an Eminent Scholar. She is an award-winning teacher and mentor, as well as an internationally recognized researcher. Dr. Kelley’s work centers on understanding the development of mental health and substance use disorders and creating effective interventions. She conducts research with military members and their families to examine the effects of deployments and combat, and she also studies parents with substance use disorders and the impact on their children.
Dr. Kelley earned a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oklahoma and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Houston.
