Get Ready for Success: Find Your Graduate Program Director (GPD)

The Graduate Student Government Association (GSGA) at ¹ú²úÂ×Àí serves as the voice of the graduate student community, advocating for their needs and interests. The GSGA fosters a vibrant graduate student experience by promoting professional development, academic excellence, and social engagement.

Through active collaboration with university leadership, faculty, and staff, the GSGA works to enhance campus resources and address issues affecting graduate students. We host events, workshops, and initiatives encouraging networking, skill-building, and community-building. The GSGA Annual Research Conference is one of the key events GSGA organizes.

Our Mission

Dedicated to enriching the post-baccalaureate student experience at ¹ú²úÂ×Àí, the Graduate Student Government Association will advance the needs and interests of our diverse student body through providing a graduate voice in University affairs; promoting personal, professional, and academic growth and development, and fostering institutional excellence in certificate, masters, and doctoral scholarship and research to encourage graduate students to reach their full potentials at the University, in their careers, and beyond.

Our Goals
  1. Become a governing body responsible for receiving, allocating, andÌýdistributing graduate student fees in the best interest of graduate students.
  2. Identify and protect the rights of the graduate student body.
  3. Work as a unified force within theÌýgraduate community by serving as a hub for graduate students to relay and access information.
  4. Establish a professional and social network amongst graduate students and graduate alumni.
