HSR Student Mya Achike received an outstanding academic research achievement.
Mya Achike is a final-year HSR student. Her research interest is examining infant feeding practices among WIC participants in Virginia. Her research work has been recognized and selected by The American Public Health Association () to present a poster at the 2022 Annual Meeting and Expo in Boston. The review committee considers the abstract "Understanding differences in breastfeeding initiation among black and white WIC participants in Virginia" high-quality and interesting.
