About this Program
¹ú²úÂ×Àí offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre and dance with a major in preK-12 theatre education, a program that integrates theatre arts and education in the classroom, the community, and on the stage. The program’s mission is to harness the transformative power of theatre to shape society and change lives, viewing education as the tool through which students create and inspire the future.

A Performance emphasis requires an audition; a Design/Technology emphasis requires a portfolio review. These are both scheduled in Spring semesters.

Teach courses in drama, music, and the arts including fine and applied art, such as painting and sculpture, or design and crafts. Includes both teachers primarily engaged in teaching and those who do a combination of teaching and research.
Play parts in stage, television, radio, video, motion picture productions, or other settings for entertainment, information, or instruction. Interpret serious or comic role by speech, gesture, and body movement to entertain or inform audience. May dance and sing.

Campus-based students may take technology-delivered or online courses. Tuition is based on student classification.
