¹ú²úÂ×Àí offers a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration with a Concentration in Information Technology. The course of study is a scholarly, research-based program with a professional orientation. The objective of the program is to prepare individuals of superior promise and potential for careers in higher education as faculty members engaged in teaching and research and for high level administrative and research careers in the private and public sectors. Persons completing the degree program must have demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of international business, research methods, and high potential for making significant contributions to their field of specialization in business. The Business Administration Ph.D. with a concentration in Information Technology requires competences in the basic disciplines of international business, field-specific coursework related to IT governance, supply chain coordination and business intelligence, and strong training in quantitative research tools.

Requirements

What are the requirements to apply for Business Administration at ¹ú²úÂ×Àí?
Students entering the Doctor of Philosophy program in Business Administration should meet the minimum university admission requirements Graduate Admission.

Applicants must provide the following materials as part of the online application form:

  • Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the GRE Test scores taken within the last five years;

  • Three letters of recommendation, of which two from academic references, which attest to the individual’s academic potential and ability for achievement;

  • A personal statement of goals, approximately two to three pages, on how the completion of the doctoral program will assist in achieving personal and professional career goals.

Teaching/Research Assistantships

All applicants admitted as first-year students to the PhD in Business Administration are automatically considered for teaching/ research assistantships. Tuition is waived for research and teaching assistantship recipients who have completed a master’s degree, are admitted as degree-seeking students, and are enrolled as full-time students.
